Select Paint and Finishes was contracted to perform the complete renovation of all public amenities, ballrooms, conference rooms, as well as the lobby located on the first three levels of the former Taj Boston Hotel located in the Back Bay. Select’s scope includes painting of all surfaces, millwork, wood repair, metal refinishing, painting of all historic trims and the installation of fine wallcoverings. The work on this 92-year-old property, which was the nation’s first Ritz-Carlton hotel before it was rebranded the Taj 12 years ago following a sale, is expected to add 13 guest rooms for a total of 286.
