Select Paint & Finishes, LLC was contracted by Columbia Construction Co. to perform the painting scope at Northeastern University’s Snell Library, the bustling hub of campus life that is undergoing a multi-year renovation. Select Paint’s scope consisted of the painting of the exterior EFIS, the interior painting of the basement through the fourth floor, including all walls, exposed ceilings, doors and frames, painting of all common spaces, as well as the painting of the Dean Suite. Some highlights of the project were the painting of the 3D wall at the feature stair with a Scuffmaster pearlescent finish, along with the AcoustiBuilt ceiling clouds. The multi-year renovation of the entire library aims to meet the rapidly changing research and learning needs of the university community.
