Select Paint & Finishes was contracted by Suffolk Construction Co. to perform the intricate painting of all drywall, stairways, doors and frames, CMU and metals in this 345,000 SF, 19-story new construction, state-of-the art building on Boston University’s Central Campus. This building will house the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences, the Mathematics & Statistics Department, the Computer Science programs, the BU Spark! technology incubator, as well as the renowned Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering. Select Paint’s scope also consisted of extensive stair metal repairs on stairs A,B,C and D, as well as the finishing of all stair metals. Select Paint also assisted on the fireproofing and intumescent coatings scope on nine of the floors to help expedite the schedule for Suffolk.
